Aspen Grove Shopping Center Hosts Annual Love Letter Project to Spread Cheer for Children’s Hospital Colorado Patients

Help make this Valentine's Day magical for the patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado Highlands Ranch by creating hand crafted messages and words of encouragement

Littleton, CO - This Valentine’s Day Aspen Grove Shopping Center, the premiere fresh air shopping destination, is bringing the Annual Love Letter Project to patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado. You may remember as a kid, receiving Valentine’s Day cards at school from your friends. For kids at Children’s Hospital Colorado, that tradition continues even in the middle of a pandemic.

Aspen Grove has a goal to create handmade cards for 400 patients starting January 24 to February 7. All guests are encouraged to participate and even get your school, book clubs, or fitness studios involved! To join in on The Love Letter Project, pick up a free card-making kit at Rox Art Gallery or make your own card. Return all completed cards to The Love Letter mailbox near Timbuk Toys at Aspen Grove by February 7.

“We are excited to spread a little bit of extra joy this Valentine’s Day for the patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado Highlands Ranch,” said Allysen Santilli, marketing manager at Aspen Grove Shopping Center. “Every year we look forward to giving back through The Love Letter project and this year these patients will know our community is especially thinking of them.”

In addition to the Love Letter messages, Timbuk Toys will be collecting donations to contribute to the wish list items used for therapy, education, and special occasions to support normalizing the hospital experience.
